Product Description

The Ehrle HSC840 INOX is a professional electrically heated static pressure washer designed for demanding industrial and commercial cleaning installations.

It delivers an adjustable working pressure of 30–130 Bar and a water flow of up to 12 litres per minute. A 24 kW electric heating system produces hot water between 30°C and 80°C without requiring diesel, heating oil, burner servicing or a boiler flue.

The 65-litre stainless-steel hot-water tank preheats and stores water, allowing hot water to be available immediately. The system can continue heating the stored water while the pressure washer is in standby mode.

A slow-running 1,400 RPM triplex pump provides dependable performance for regular professional use. The pump incorporates a heat-resistant chrome-nickel pump head, high-performance ceramic pistons, stainless-steel valves and a leakage return system.

The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel chassis is suitable for floor-mounted installation and incorporates 20 mm polyurethane sound and thermal insulation. An 80W thermostatically controlled chassis heater provides additional protection in suitable installations.

Ehrle’s Etronic I control system provides delayed start-stop operation, complete shutdown after 20 minutes, an operating-hours counter, service notifications and low-water protection. An adjustable unloader safety valve allows the operating pressure and water flow to be regulated for the cleaning task.

Storage is provided for two 20-litre detergent containers, with selectable detergent delivery and adjustable chemical dosing through the high-pressure water stream. Ehrle’s specification also states that the machine incorporates water-supply separation conforming to DIN EN 1717 Class 4.

Technical Specifications

Installation Information

The HSC840 INOX requires a suitable 400V three-phase electrical supply with sufficient capacity for its 28.8 kW total connected load. Ehrle specifies 3 × 50A slow-blow electrical protection.

The installation location, electrical supply, water supply, drainage, ventilation and frost protection should be assessed before ordering. Final electrical connection and commissioning must be completed by suitably qualified personnel.

Unlike an oil-fired machine, the electrically heated HSC840 INOX does not require fuel storage or a combustion flue. However, the site must have sufficient electrical capacity for the 24 kW water-heating system.

The unloader valve must be commissioned with the correct lance and nozzle fitted and adjusted according to the pressure-washer pump specification. Unloader valves are not supplied pre-set for every installation.
