At Flowjet Cleaning Equipment Ltd, we're passionate about supporting our local community, and this year we were incredibly proud to see Mel Hickson take on one of her biggest personal challenges yet – completing the Cheshire Dash 2026, a demanding 100-mile road cycling event in aid of the David Lewis Centre Charity.

The Cheshire Dash is a fantastic charity cycling event that brings together riders of all abilities to raise money for an organisation that provides life-changing care and support for people living with complex needs, including autism, epilepsy, acquired brain injuries and learning disabilities.

After months of training, determination and preparation, Mel successfully completed the full 100-mile route. It wasn't an easy challenge, but crossing the finish line made every mile worthwhile.

Together We Raised Over £31,000

The most rewarding part of the day wasn't simply completing the ride – it was knowing that, together with fellow cyclists, supporters and sponsors, more than £31,000 was raised for the David Lewis Centre Charity.

Every donation will help the charity continue delivering vital services and support to the people and families who rely on them every day.

Thank You to Our Sponsors

This achievement would not have been possible without the kindness and generosity of local businesses who supported Mel's fundraising efforts.

A heartfelt thank you goes to:

Your sponsorship and encouragement made a genuine difference, and your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank You to Everyone Who Supported the Ride

We'd also like to thank everyone who donated, wished Mel good luck, shared the fundraising page and cheered the riders on throughout the day.

Special thanks also go to [Outliers]( https://teamoutliers.com) for helping Mel get bike-fit and prepared for the challenge.

Finally, thank you to the organisers, marshals and volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the Cheshire Dash such a fantastic and well-organised event.

Supporting Our Community

As a family-run business based in Cumbria, supporting worthwhile charities and giving something back to the community is something we truly value.

While Flowjet Cleaning Equipment Ltd is best known for supplying industrial pressure washers, spare parts and accessories throughout the UK, we also believe in supporting organisations that make a real difference to people's lives.

Congratulations to Mel on an incredible achievement, and thank you once again to everyone who helped make this fundraising effort such a success.

We are proud to have played a small part in helping raise over £31,000 for such an amazing cause

Introducing the latest generation of Nilfisk MH hot water pressure washers, designed to deliver greater efficiency, lower fuel consumption, reduced emissions and outstanding cleaning performance for professional users.

The New Nilfisk MH Range Explained: What's Changed and Which Model is Right for You?

Nilfisk has completely redesigned its hot water pressure washer range, introducing a new generation of machines that build on the success of the MH3, MH4 and MH5 series. The new range consists of standard MH30, MH40 and MH50 models alongside advanced MH35, MH45 and MH55 PAX variants, each designed to improve efficiency, reduce running costs and enhance operator experience.

A New Generation of Hot Water Pressure Washers

The previous MH range established itself as one of the most reliable hot water pressure washer platforms available. However, modern cleaning operations require greater efficiency, lower emissions and improved machine intelligence.

The new MH range addresses these demands through:

Improved energy efficiency

Biofuel compatibility

Enhanced diagnostics

Smarter operator controls

Reduced fuel consumption

Simplified maintenance

Standard vs Advanced Models

The new range is split into two categories.

Standard Models

MH30

MH40

MH50

These machines provide straightforward operation, robust construction and dependable hot water cleaning performance.

Advanced PAX Models

MH35 PAX

MH45 PAX

MH55 PAX

These machines introduce a range of advanced technologies designed for intensive professional use.

Improved Boiler Efficiency

One of the most significant upgrades is the new boiler technology used on the PAX models.

92%

New MH35, MH45 & MH55 PAX

The increase in combustion efficiency helps reduce fuel consumption while maintaining excellent cleaning performance.

Biofuel Compatibility

The new MH range has been designed to operate with both diesel and approved biofuels.

Reduced environmental impact

Lower carbon emissions

Improved sustainability

Future-proof operation

Smarter Controls

The standard MH30, MH40 and MH50 models feature simple rotary controls for straightforward operation.

The advanced PAX models feature a smart digital dashboard offering:

Up to 20 programmable cleaning settings

Multi-language support

Machine diagnostics

Service reminders

Pressure monitoring

Operating hour tracking

Settings lock function

These features help improve consistency and reduce operator error.

Enhanced Diagnostics and Protection

The advanced MH PAX models include a comprehensive monitoring system designed to reduce downtime and protect critical components.

Low pump oil shutdown

Fuel monitoring

Leak detection

Acoustic flame sensor monitoring

Advanced fault diagnostics

Improved Chemical Dosing

The MH35, MH45 and MH55 PAX models feature precision detergent dosing technology with automatic chemical regulation of up to 4%.

This helps:

Reduce detergent waste

Improve cleaning consistency

Lower operating costs

Support environmental compliance

Standard Equipment
