Product Description

The Ehrle HSC1140 INOX is a professional electrically heated static pressure washer designed for demanding commercial and industrial cleaning installations.

Operating at an adjustable working pressure of 30–165 Bar, the HSC1140 INOX delivers a water flow of up to 16.7 litres per minute. This combination of pressure, water flow and electrically heated water makes it suitable for regular washdown work involving vehicles, machinery, production equipment and heavily contaminated surfaces.

A 30 kW electric heating system produces hot water between 30°C and 80°C without requiring diesel, heating oil or a combustion flue. The 65-litre stainless-steel hot-water tank preheats and stores water, providing an immediate supply of hot water. Heating can continue while the machine is in standby mode.

The slow-running 1,400 RPM triplex pump incorporates a heat-resistant chrome-nickel pump head, high-performance ceramic pistons, stainless-steel valves and a leakage return system. These professional components support dependable operation in demanding fixed cleaning installations.

The machine is housed within a self-supporting stainless-steel chassis, providing strong corrosion resistance and making it suitable for floor-mounted installation. The cabinet incorporates 20 mm polyurethane sound and thermal insulation together with an 80W thermostatically controlled chassis heater.

Ehrle’s Etronic I control system provides delayed start-stop operation, automatic shutdown after 20 minutes, an operating-hours counter, service notifications and low-water protection. The machine also has an adjustable unloader safety valve for regulating the operating pressure and water flow.

Storage is provided for two 20-litre detergent containers. The operator can select the required detergent and regulate chemical delivery through the high-pressure water stream.

Installation Information

The HSC1140 INOX requires a suitable 400V three-phase supply with sufficient capacity for its 36.5 kW total connected load. Ehrle specifies 3 × 63A slow-blow electrical protection.

The proposed location, electrical supply, incoming water supply, drainage and frost protection must be assessed before ordering. Electrical connection and commissioning should only be undertaken by suitably qualified personnel.

The machine incorporates water-supply separation conforming to DIN EN 1717 Class 4. The final installation must still comply with the applicable UK water regulations and site requirements.

Unlike an oil-fired hot water pressure washer, the electrically heated HSC1140 INOX does not require fuel storage, burner maintenance or a combustion flue. However, adequate electrical capacity must be available for the 30 kW heating system.

The unloader valve must be commissioned with the correct lance and nozzle fitted and adjusted according to the pressure-washer pump specification. Unloader valves are not supplied set up for every individual installation.
