How the Variopressure Function Works

The ST2300 incorporates an adjustable pressure control mechanism within the gun body. By rotating the Variopressure control, the operator can reduce the working pressure delivered to the nozzle while maintaining effective water flow.

When pressure is reduced at the gun:

• Cleaning pressure at the nozzle decreases.
• Water flow typically increases slightly.
• The pressure washer's unloader valve automatically adjusts to the change.
• The pump is not working harder; it simply operates at a different point on its performance curve.

For example, a pressure washer producing 200 Bar at 15 LPM may be adjusted down to approximately 100–120 Bar while maintaining a similar flow rate.

This allows operators to safely clean more delicate surfaces without changing nozzles or returning to the machine to make adjustments.

Important Compatibility Information

The ST2300 Variopressure Gun is designed for pressure washers fitted with conventional pressure-regulating unloader valves.

This gun is not suitable for use with flow-actuated unloader valves, including the Interpump K Series unloader valve and similar flow-sensitive systems.

Because the Variopressure function alters the flow characteristics within the gun, flow-actuated unloaders may react incorrectly, causing pressure fluctuations, unloader cycling, or unstable machine operation.
