ST164 Injector with Compressed Air Module and Metering Valves-2.0mm

Overview

ST164 twin chemical injector with compressed air module and metering valves from R+M Suttner in stainless steel, 2.0mm injector size. Water is forced through a restrictive orifice, and with a low pressure nozzle such as an ST75 foam head this creates a vacuum that draws chemical into the water stream. A lever selects which of two connected chemicals is drawn in. It is used for cleaning in agriculture, automotive and food processing, including vehicles that carry livestock.

A compressed air connection gives a drier, stickier foam; with compressed air, use DN12 hose and a 1/2" inlet and outlet wash gun with a large cross section, such as the ST2720, ST2725, ST3100 or ST3300, so the foam does not collapse. A lance with an air injector is not needed. Dosing is adjusted with the metering valves. Fit a chemical filter on the end of each chemical tube and check the viscosity of the chemical, as it affects the draw rate. It has a 3/8" BSP female inlet and a 1/2" BSP female outlet and is rated to 350 bar, 80 litres per minute and 100°C.
