Pratissoli KF40 Series Motor Pump Unit with Valves and Filter, 415V, 110 Bar, 170 LPM, 45kW

This Pratissoli KF series electric motor pump unit pairs a Pratissoli KF40 pump with a 415V 45kW IE3 motor running at 1000 rpm. It delivers up to 110 bar at 170 litres per minute and is mounted on a heavy duty skid with a pressure regulator, pre-set safety valve, pulsation dampener and inlet filter.

The KF40 pump is rated to run at 900 rpm to achieve 170 litres per minute at 110 bar, so the motor on this unit must be controlled with a variable frequency drive to limit its speed to 900 rpm. The pump can instead run at 1000 rpm for a rated 188 litres per minute at up to 100 bar (48.8hp, 35.9kW required), but it must then be fed by a booster pump delivering about twice the plunger pump flow (around 376 litres per minute) at 2 to 3 bar. In that case the motor can run at full rated speed and be controlled by a star-delta starter, a soft-start starter or a variable speed drive.
