The Nicolini NIC4055S is a professional 4kW three-phase electric motor suitable for industrial pressure washers, pump assemblies and other fixed cleaning-equipment applications.

Operating from a 415V, 50Hz three-phase supply, the motor delivers 4kW or 5.5HP with a nominal speed of 1450 RPM. Its slower four-pole operating speed makes it suitable for driving compatible 1450 RPM high-pressure pumps.

The motor has an IEC100 frame, B34 foot-and-face mounting arrangement and a 28mm keyed solid shaft. Its aluminium construction helps provide a strong yet manageable motor assembly, while IP54 protection and Class F insulation support dependable operation in suitable industrial environments.

Pressure-Washer Pump Compatibility

This motor may be suitable for driving compatible 1450 RPM pressure-washer pumps, including selected models from Interpump, Annovi Reverberi, Udor, CAT Pumps and Speck.

Compatibility must be confirmed using the pump’s:

• Required power at the intended pressure and flow
• Maximum and required operating speed
• Shaft dimensions
• Rotation direction
• Coupling and bell-housing arrangement
• Mounting dimensions

Do not select a motor using horsepower alone. The pressure, flow rate and pump speed determine the required motor power.

Installation Information

Installation must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician. The motor requires correctly selected overload protection, switching equipment, electrical cable and isolation appropriate to the supply and application.

Before commissioning, confirm the motor’s direction of rotation and ensure that all rotating couplings are correctly aligned and protected by a suitable guard.
