The Maxflow PTOHAWKGB1R PTO Pressure Washer is a heavy-duty tractor-powered cleaning system designed for agricultural, commercial and industrial applications.

Its professional Italian Hawk brass-head pump is driven through a multiplier gearbox, removing the need for a separate petrol engine, diesel engine or electrical supply. This makes the machine particularly suitable for farms, plant yards and remote working locations.

The pressure produced depends on the selected tractor PTO speed:

• 540 rpm produces 200 Bar
• 1000 rpm produces 250 Bar
• Maximum water flow is 25 LPM

This combination of pressure and water flow is suitable for removing mud, slurry, grease and stubborn contamination from agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, buildings and hard surfaces.

Hawk Pump and PTO Drive

The professional Hawk brass-head pump provides dependable performance for demanding cleaning work. It is connected to the tractor PTO through a multiplier gearbox, allowing the machine to produce two different operating pressures according to the PTO speed selected.

When operated at 540 rpm, the pressure washer delivers 200 Bar. Selecting 1000 rpm increases the operating pressure to 250 Bar.

Always select the correct PTO speed before starting the machine. Do not change the PTO speed while the pressure washer is operating.

Heavy-Duty Galvanised Frame

The pump, gearbox and hose reel are mounted on a robust four-leg galvanised steel frame.

Its wide anti-tip design provides a stable platform during use and helps protect the main components when the pressure washer is being transported or stored.

Water Supply and Filtration

The pressure washer includes a two-stage filtration system to help prevent debris from reaching the high-pressure pump.

A 3 m suction hose allows the machine to draw clean water from a suitable storage tank. The water supply must continuously provide at least 25 LPM.

All suction connections must be airtight. An inadequate water supply or air entering the suction line can cause cavitation and permanent damage to the pump.

Bypass-to-Tank System

When the trigger gun is released, the bypass-to-tank system returns water to the supply tank instead of continually recirculating it through the pump.

This helps reduce heat build-up during short periods when the trigger gun is closed. The machine should not be left running in bypass for extended periods.

Integrated Hose Reel

An integrated manual hose reel is supplied with 30 metres of twin-wire Flexepulse® high-pressure hose.

The hose reel provides convenient storage while giving the operator a generous working range without repeatedly moving the tractor or pressure-washer unit.

Trigger Gun and Lance

The machine is supplied with a professional Maxflow trigger gun and a 1200 mm lance.

A quick-release connection on the trigger gun allows compatible pressure-washer accessories to be connected more easily. Every accessory must be suitable for the machine’s maximum operating pressure and flow rate.

Important Operating Information

Ensure the tractor, PTO shaft and pressure-washer gearbox are correctly connected before starting the machine. All PTO guards must be fitted and secured.

Never approach, inspect or adjust a rotating PTO shaft. Disengage the PTO, stop the tractor and remove the key before carrying out maintenance or making adjustments.

The pressure-washer nozzle must match the pump flow and required operating pressure. A nozzle selected for 200 Bar operation may not be correct for 250 Bar operation.

Use the Flowjet Pressure Washer Nozzle Size Chart to identify the appropriate nozzle size.

Correct operating pressure requires the correct nozzle size, the appropriate PTO speed, an adequately adjusted unloader valve and a sufficient clean water supply.
