Shutdown Options Available

Standard Bypass System

The standard Bulldog 2200 operates continuously while switched on. When the trigger gun is released, water circulates through the pump in bypass mode until the machine is manually switched off.

Timed Shutdown

This option automatically switches the machine off after a preset idle period, typically 2–3 minutes after releasing the trigger gun. This reduces unnecessary running time, minimises wear and tear, and improves energy efficiency.

Auto Stop/Start

The Auto Stop/Start system allows the machine to start and stop automatically using the wash gun trigger. When the trigger is released, the motor stops immediately and restarts when cleaning resumes.

This feature helps reduce operating costs and prolong component life. Pressurised water remains within the hose system, so any leaks can cause the machine to cycle on and off.

KLP Stop/Start System

The KLP system uses a water inlet switch that allows the machine to start and stop via the wash gun trigger without shutting the machine down completely.

This system provides convenient operation while eliminating issues associated with pressure-switch systems. The KLP option is only suitable for machines connected directly to a mains water supply.
