Skip to main contentComet water pump seals can become worn due to heat build-up, frost, or debris in the pump. The seals sit around the piston and have a tight seal. Fitting the pump seals is very easy to do with normal workshop tools. Simply remove the brass head to expose the brass collars. In the brass head, there will be a high-pressure seal and in the brass collar, a low-pressure seal is held in place with an O ring.
