High-pressure pulsation dampeners and accumulators help reduce pressure fluctuations created by reciprocating piston and plunger pumps.
Installed on the high-pressure side of a compatible system, a correctly selected dampener can absorb pressure pulses, reduce vibration and provide a smoother flow through the hose, pipework and connected equipment. It may also help reduce stress on fittings, valves, gauges and other system components.

Most pulsation dampeners are gas-charged (hydro-pneumatic) accumulators. A pre-charged gas chamber absorbs the pressure pulses from the pump, smoothing the flow and taking vibration out of the pressure washer line. When choosing one, check the maximum pressure, volume, temperature rating and connection size.
