Equipment for applying foam and chemicals through a pressure washer, including Suttner ST60.1 and ST160 foam injectors with metering valves, RM300 adjustable chemical injectors, ST72 foam lances with air injectors, snow foam bottle lances, foam guns, 3/8" and 1/2" male foam nozzles, ST161 metering valves and chemical restrictor inserts. Injector nozzles are listed in sizes such as 1.3mm to 2.3mm, so choose one to suit your machine's flow rate.
How foam injection works
Foam is produced using an injector on the outlet of the pressure washer. When low pressure is selected, the venturi creates suction and draws in the chemical. We can calculate the correct injector size for your flow and pressure.
We also stock Suttner bypass injectors that accept compressed air. This method is typically used in the food industry for the best cleaning results.
Foam lance with a bottle
The foaming agent is injected at the end of the lance from a 1 litre or 2 litre bottle, so it can run out quickly when cleaning a large area. Jet orifice sizes from 1.25 to 2.1 are available to suit your flow and pressure.
Foam lance with an air injector
An ST72 or ST75 foam lance with an air injector works with a foam injector on the outlet of the pressure washer. The foam lance has a large nozzle and fits to the pressure washer gun, keeping the line pressure low enough for the venturi to draw in the chemical. This system is preferred by industrial and commercial customers.
Recommended set-up
- Hose length: ideally no more than 20m
- Hose bore: 3/8" or larger
- Flow: 10–40 L/min
- Pressure: 20–250 bar
